September 12

This morning I decided to head across the mountains from the Denver area towards Utah. I found a small BLM camping area just outside of Grand Junction where I am going to spend the night...

The trip through the mountains was pretty exciting.  The roads were pretty packed most of the time and I was trying both to take in the view and to get a few snapshots while driving so the pictures may not be that great...

As anyone who has been to the Colorado knows, pictures do not do justice or give you the scale of these wonderful mountains...

    You sound like me when I was driving to AZ. I kept trying to balance driving, with the awe of the moment, and trying (unsuccessfully) to capture a piece of it on my camera. You got some great shots, though!
