Truth...

 Truth

It seems that most of my life has reflected the expression of something underlying, a peculiar trait, that has caused a great deal of confusion and calamity.

Confusion, because I have been slow to identify this distinction; thinking that how I perceived the world was the common understanding.  Calamitous due to the disconnect experienced when alternative viewpoints clashed.

I’m sure I’m not alone, there are likely many forms that also have this experience, and it is a gift, although a bittersweet one.

As I mature, clarity comes more easily, but the consequences less tasteful.

Truth is a characteristic we associate with words and the spoken language, but not often enough to the outward energetic expressions of the eyes and body.  One knows when deception is involved, even when the words spoken or written express a different sentiment.  The dissonance created when the words and the bodily expressions differ is disturbing.  Which message being broadcast is the true expression of intention?

Intuition is energetic, words express the adaptation of the minds perspective.  One is an innate gift that we all have access to, the other a product of conditioning.

The expression of truth, and the vehicle used to express it, is determined by one’s attachment to the world, or the lack of.  Both are relatively true, but the energetic expressions reveal the deepest understandings related to ones intent.

It is difficult at times to trust your intuitive sense when also experiencing contradictory expressions of language.  Words have such power and influence.  And acting intuitively strains the heart, as your mind vehemently contests your authenticity.

It is a more difficult path, as everything relating to the world of illusion will stand against you in defiance, but to live authentically becomes necessary as you ripen beyond your conditioning; and the struggles that ensue are the richest gift, the foundation for deeper meditation and understanding.

America, the place to be...

This is a great moment in the human experience; and this land we call America stands out as the potential birthplace of a new and more inclusive model of human culture.

Humanity lives, breathes, and exists on a global stage.  Divisions of separation by things such as race, creed, or religion are imagined.  Every human being is unique and perfect when perceived without personal prejudice.  Any perceived differences are superficial and blind one’s clear-sightedness and understanding.

The era which has placed value upon human distinctions, divisions, and separateness has presented its act on the stage, but now that Act has ended and begins the transition beyond to the acceptance of radical inclusivity.

This transition is one of the mind, the collective mind of all of humanity.  Every single human form participates in the process and either furthers or obstructs this transition.

Maturity is the purpose.  Maturation from these adolescent ideologies, selfish and self-serving tendencies, to acceptance, inclusion, and understanding.

The confining and limited social structures  created by our culture will lose their efficacy.  Change will happen when we seek not to prioritize our individuality but instead seek to lower ourselves down from our pedestals while at the same time lifting those, who we perceive as standing below us, up as equals.

America is at a critical stage of transition.  We can see the stark contrast between the new and old collective mindsets playing out in our cultural institutions.  The perceived division it has created is a necessary element of the transition, It must be so.  It will take time to reshape our culture, to recenter our social values, but this new mindset has reached a tipping point and cannot be stopped.  Those who refuse to accept change are doomed to failure and their efforts serve only to obstruct the inevitable outcome.

Everything of this world changes, it is inevitable, it is the law of nature, of existence itself, resistances is futile and ultimately destructive of the whole.

Participate in this transition.  Seek truth and understanding within your being.  Try on a new mindset, seek its value, recognize the common humanity that stands as a backdrop on the stage.  Focus your attention away from the various stage props in the foreground and towards the ever present backdrop, the commonality of humanity and of the human condition.

Be the change, and watch as the world blossoms in response.

Much peace, much love,

Bernie

A personal note...

I began a personal spiritual journey many years ago, one that ultimately brought me into the nomadic lifestyle.  Keeping the White Feather Journal has been a wonderful experience and has allowed me to discover myself through my own media expressions as well as my many travels and personal interactions with people I have met across the country.

And now, this journal is evolving and therefore must reflect the changes that are occurring in my outward environment, but especially those of my inward understandings.  There are just times that I feel the need to write about topics of interest to me now.

So...  I will be posting new entries sporadically, though they will likely look and feel differently than posts in the past.  This is just a reflection of how this, my life, is evolving.

Peace and love,

Bernie
